Skype USED to be a very good program a few years back until Microsoft took it over and ruined it, like they have with so many acquisitions. Phone calls are NOT encrypted once they leave the skype servers, so others can hack your private conversations also if they know how. Many reports of them spying on your chat and they have not denied it when they were asked. There was no security issue, they just like to delete accounts for no particular reason. Then recurring charges that my bank had to stop.ĭeleting your account for so called 'security reasons' meaning the skype staff didn't get laid the night before. I really don't see how skype got such a high rating here as it doesn't deserve it. The many users there give it like less than two stars. If you want a more honest idea of skype try looking at trustpilot. 2nd attempt, got error message to 'contact support' first attempt did not go through.
